Located in Galicia, Playa de Traba is a fun beach break that offers up good performance waves year round. The waves here can be challenging at times and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. Sandbars are very changeable.
What are the best surf conditions for Playa de Traba?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is highly consistent (9/10) and almost never crowded (3/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on all tides but medium to high is best.
