Located in Galicia, Santa Maria de Oia is an excellent left hand reef break that offers up a heaving barrel when the conditions are right. The waves here are heavy, do not surf here unless your chops are up. They break for up to 100 meters over a rock bottom which can be dangerously shallow at times. Needs a sizable swell to break.
