Located in Galicia, Spain, Razo is a fun beach break that offers up some fast, walling surf when other spots are small. The waves here require some skill to surf well and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. The break here is large and it is easy to spread out.
What are the best surf conditions for Razo?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size steps up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is quite consistent (8/10) and never crowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the North and Northwest. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 19 degrees. In the winter a 4/3 is best when water temps drop to 13 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
