Located in Galicia, San Cosme is a quality beach break that offers up good performance-oriented waves with decent consistency. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. With a little bit of effort and you can find similar waves nearby that are usually empty.
What are the best surf conditions for San Cosme?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and is generally uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from North and Northwest. Works on all tides.
