Located in Galicia, Reinante is a fun beach break that offers up some fast, quality barrels when the conditions line up. The waves here can be challenging and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. West swells don’t hit this break, come here when there is some North in the swell.
What are the best surf conditions for Reinante?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here does not break often (3/10) and is generally uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from the North and Northwest. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 19 degrees. In the winter a 4/3 is best when water temperatures drop to 13 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
