Wamberal is a super consistent beachy that usually has very good sandbanks. Located at the northern 1.5km stretch of sand of the Wamberal-Terrigal beach. It offers a series of racey peaks depending on sandbank formation. The most consistent though is at the northern end in front of the Wamberal Lagoon entrance and further north. There are some sandy rock reefs right at the northern end that offer up as well. Watch out for the blueys!
The waves here require a bit of surf skill and can break for up to 100 meters, providing fast sections that demand a speed pump or two.
