Margate Beach gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard and then a step up as the size increases. This break is good for all levels of surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will always have a crew (7/10), more so in the summers though. The best winds are from the Northwest. Good swells come from the Southeast. Works on all tides.
