Located in West Guerrero, Mexico, Playa Boa Chica is a fun beach break that offers up some rippable sections most days of the year. The waves here are a bit challenging to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Playa Boca Chica?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller, a shortboard when bigger or step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will usually be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Northwest, South, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
