Located in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Yatch is a fun point break that offers up some classic right-handers when the conditions line up. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a rock and sand bottom. Works on most winds which is nice.
What are the best surf conditions for Yatch?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. this break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will generally have a crew (7/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works on all tides.
