Located in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Paradise is an excellent right-hand point break that offers up long barreling rides. The waves here require a lot of skill to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a rock bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Paradise?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally have a crew on it (7/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works on a low to mid-tide best.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 10 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
