Located in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Diva is an excellent left-hand point break that needs a big swell to get going, but when she does she serves up beautiful long barrels. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Diva?
Gets good between head high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally have a crew on it (7/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 10 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
