Located in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Biologia is a fun left-hand point break that offers up some rippable walls when the conditions line up. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Biologia?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. this break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will always have a crew (7/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East and Northeast. Works on a low to mid-tide best.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 10 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
