Located in Kadavu Passage, Fiji, Mulomulo is a quality left hand reef break that offers up a rippable wall on massive swells. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a coral reef. This spot is extremely sheltered and does not break often, if you surf it you are one of the few.
What are the best surf conditions for Mulomulo?
Gets good between waist high and overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here does not break very often (3/10) and will be uncrowded (2/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South, Southeast, and Southwest. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini all year. Water temperatures stick between 27 and 24. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
