Located in Oceanside to Encinitas, San Diego County, Moonlight Beach is a peaky beachie that offers up some good sections for manoeuvres when the conditions line up. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. Lifeguards will restrict surfing during the afternoons in summer as this beach gets hyper-crowded with families.
