Located in Mendocino County, California, Ward Ave. Beach is a peaky beach break that offers up some great sections for ripping into. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rock and sand bottom.

Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on a low to mid-tide best.
