Located in Mendocino County, California, Seaside Creek is an alright beach break that offers up some fun, rippable peaks when the conditions line up. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a rock and sandy bottom. Better when smaller.
What are the best surf conditions for Seaside Creek?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not surfable often (3/10) and will usually be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on a mid-tide best.
We recommend wearing a 4/3 here in the summer. In the winter a 5/4 is best. Water temperatures range between 10-14. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
