The Kaimana is a typical Mentawais surf charter with a knowledgeable international crew. The spacious 80ft vessel sets out for sea with a minimum of 8 guests and maximum of 10. As you hop between the four main islands you will relish and remember their white sandy beaches, picture perfect surf and light tropical breeze in the palm trees.
Air conditioned throughout, sleeping accommodations are in five cozy twin cabins. There are two bathrooms with hot water showers and an outdoor shower as well. The lounge an common space is your cool place of leisure with TV, DVD, and Stereo. The top deck is the spot for colling in the shade and watching the wave action or enjoying the magnificent Indo sunsets with a cold Bintang beer.
On board the Kaimana, three gourmet meals are served daily by their top chef. Throughout the day there are plenty of snacks including fresh fruit, nuts, biscuits and chocolate bars. With advanced notice, any special dietary requirements is available. Your drinks include Sumatran coffee, tea, sodas, juice, purified water and your daily 3 icy cold beers.
There is plenty of gear for fishing, and snorkeling, and you are free to use as you wish. The Mentawai Islands have spectacular, shallow coral reefs and you can use the tender for further exploration. The tender is a 10ft dinghy with a 25hp outboard. The crew uses this to jet ahead of the main boat to check the spots, and allows for guests to choose alternate spots at the same time. Also, enjoy trips ashore to the beach or explore the culture and fauna of the Islands.
