Located in the North Male Atolls, Indian Ocean, Twin Peaks is a quality reef break that holds both a left and right perfect for high performance surfing. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a coral reef. The right is more consistent but the left is better when big.
What are the best surf conditions for Twin Peaks?
Gets good between chest high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (6/10) and will get busy at peak times (5/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the South or Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts and a bikini here as water temperatures range between 29 and 27 year round. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
