We have been here at this magnificent resort for 5 days and we have 5 to go… its August 2024…. it’s a must visit (our second visit here, first in 2019 we couldn’t wait to get back) put on your bucket list esp if you are a surfer…so many ++ the staff are so lovely, the pool, beach, lagoon, rooftop bar, three restaurants, theme nights, water sports, surf trips out to breaks and beach bar all amazing. Such a beautiful island, laid back, peaceful and picturesque ….. special mention and our thanks go to Bala in the trendy beach bar, great double day beds with mattresses, Bala is fantastic, great service and a great music playlist and a drink ready to hand you… so friendly and will do anything to assist your afternoon drinks watching the waves… thanks Bala.
Also get a special mention Steeju, in the Breakfast buffet such a lovely man who has impeccable English, is caring and accommodating and has A1 hospitality skills, makes the breakfast service run smoothly… one other favourite of ours is Sangita in the speciality Vietnamese Restaurant, she is just a beautiful young lady, caring, accommodating, friendly and such an experienced waitress with good knowledge of the menu. Lastly Yanick – the Day Spa did the best deep tissue massage for both myself and hubby, for 1 hr we are going back before we leave for 1.30 hr – just what a tired travelling body needed, she knows her stuff and is so strong for someone so petite – thank you Yannick. Thank you also both Steeju and Sangita. The resort are very lucky, as are the guests to have you four – Bala, Steeju, Yanick and Sangita employed at Kandooma, owned by Holiday Inn.
