Located in Peniche, Portugal, Supertubos is a fantastic beach break that offers up deep, long tubes (get the name?) for those good enough to get them. Supertubos has been a spot on the world tour and usually delivers epic conditions. The waves here are heavy and difficult to surf, breaking over a shallow sand bottom for up to 100 meters. The lip slams into the hard-packed sand and is known for breaking boards and bodies. Be ready for a crowd of surfers as well as bodyboarders, this is one of the most popular spots in Portugal when it is on.
