Located in Beira Litoral, Portugal, Torreira is a jetty break that offers up decent sections for manoeuvres when the conditions line up. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. A consistent, but not high-quality spot.
What are the best surf conditions for Torreira?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the swell picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will get busy on weekends and holidays (5/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 in the summer when water temperatures rise to 18 degrees. In the winter a 4/3 is best when water temps drop to 13 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
