It gets good from waist-high to double overhead. Longboards work well here, but it’s a good idea to bring a shortboard for when the swell picks up. This break is suitable for surfers of all levels. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and can get very crowded with tourists (8/10). The best winds are from the east. The best swells are from the northwest, west, and southwest. It breaks well on mid and low tides.
