Good beach break waves over a sand sea bed, this is probably the best option for beginners learning to surf as it right in front of the Surf Life Saving Club and isn’t too heavy a break or isolated, in fact it can get pretty busy. It’s best in a southeast swell with west to northwest winds. Lots of banks up and down the beach. Very exposed and different ends of the beach can get good at different times so worth checking beforehand.
Check the south end for one of Sydney’s craziest slabs!
