Located in Northern Morocco, Larrache is a pretty good left jetty break that offers up some tubing rides. The waves here can be a bit tricky to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Larrache?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or step-up as the size increases. This wave is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here isn’t the most consistent (4/10) and will usually have a few people on it (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on a mid-tide.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is good for the 18-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
