Located in Central Morocco, Cap Sim is an excellent right-point break that offers up great barreling sections when the conditions line up. The waves here can be difficult to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a sand bottom. Localism and thievery are not uncommon occurrences here.
What are the best surf conditions for Cap Sim?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here hardly ever breaks (2/10) and will have a crew on it when it does (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is best when water temperatures only drop to 18 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
