Located in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Waikiki is an alright right-hand point break that offers up easygoing breaks for beginners or longboarders. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Waikiki?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard on the rare days the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will get insanely crowded (9/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 is best when water temperatures drop to 10 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
