Located in Humboldt County, California, No Pass is a good reef break that offers up a right-hand, rippable wall perfect for high-performance surfing. The waves here are difficult to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rock bottom. Watch out for sharks and protective locals.
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and won’t be crowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 4/3 here More...
