Located on Panaitan Island, Java, Insides is a fun and mellow left reef break that offers up a more approachable barrel compared to the other breaks in the area. The waves here are not easy to surf, however, and break for up to 200 meters over a coral reef.
What are the best surf conditions for Insides?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (6/10) and will generally have a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are from the North. The best swells are from the Southwest. Works best on a mid-tide.
