Located on Panaitan Island, Java, One Palm Point (Named for a now absent lone palm) is the ultimate left-hand reef break that serves up ultra-long barrels for the brave. The waves here are downright dangerous, breaking over a super shallow, super sharp reef for up to 300 meters. Those in the know wear full wetsuits and helmets even in the tropical water.

What are the best surf conditions for One Palm Point?

Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up when bigger here. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will be uncrowded (2/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the South and Southwest.
