Located on the Bukit Peninsula, Bali, Dreamland is a mellow reef and beach break that offers up a great option for learners and intermediates in a land of advanced and heavy waves. The waves here break left and right and are easy to surf until some size arrives when it will get a little tricky. The bottom is a mix of coral and beach.
What are the best surf conditions for Dreamland?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and will generally have a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the south, Southwest, and West. Works best on a low to mid-tide.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round. In summer water temperatures rise to 29 degrees before dropping only to 25 degrees in the winter. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
