Located in Asturias, Frejulfe is an excellent beach break that offers up some amazing performance sections up and down the beach. The waves here are tricky to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. On the Eastern side, there is a rivermouth that works on lower tides and the cliffs on the Western side like the higher tides.
What are the best surf conditions for Frejulfe?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer depending on the size. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will usually have a crew on it (7/10). The best winds are from the South. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a springsuit here in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 4/3 is best when water temperatures drop to 13 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
