Located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Tamarindo is a town with a few breaks, one of which is a fun stretch of river mouth peaks offering up some rippable waves. The surf here can be a bit challenging depending on the size and the waves break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. Check out some nearby reefs and some straight hander beach break as well.
