Located in the Guanacaste Province, close to Tamarindo, Costa Rica, Playa Grande is a fun stretch of beach break that offers up some fun waves for all levels. The waves here can be a bit challenging depending on the size and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. This is a famous turtle breeding ground, and you’ll probably see some in the water.
