Located in Northern Morocco, Plage des Nations is an alright beach break that offers up some fun sections when the banks are well-formed; otherwise, it is a closeout. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Plage des Nations?
Plage des Nations gets good between chest high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if small and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (4/10) and will be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the Northwest. Works best on a mid to high tide.
We recommend wearing a springsuit in the summers when water temps rise to 21°C (69.8°F). In the winters, a 3/2 is best as water temps drop to 18°C (64.4°F). See our temperature chart below for more data on this.
