Located in Northern Morocco, Dar Bouazza is an excellent left point break in a land of rights. This wave is very good and offers up great sections for performance manoeuvres. The waves can be difficult to surf and break for up to 300 meters over a rocky bottom. Watch out for urchins, booties are a good choice.
What are the best surf conditions for Dar Bouazza?
Gets good between chest-high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a longboard or a shortboard here as the size increases. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will always have the goofies on it (7/10). The best winds are from the South. This spot needs a big swell from the North, Northwest, and West. Works low to mid tides best.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is best when water temperatures only drop to 18 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
