Located on Long Island in New York, Laurelton Blvd. is a fun pier break that breaking over a sandy bottom. The waves here require some skill to surf well and break for up to 300 meters providing some powerful sections for hacks and carves.

What are the best surf conditions for Laurelton Blvd.?

Gets good from head high to triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard here. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and you will usually be in uncrowded waves, especially in winter (4/10). Works on all tides depending on the sandbars. The best swells are from the East and the best winds are from the North.

We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when the water temperatures rise to 23 degrees. In the winter a 5/4 hooded wetsuit with booties and gloves is necessary for the 4-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
