Located in Monterey County, California, Salinas River State Beach is a fun beach break that offers up some powerful waves when the conditions line up. The waves here are challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sandy bottom. Barrels are the norm here, It’s a bit of a little brother to Moss Landing as it offers similar conditions but doesn’t handle the same size.
