What are the best surf conditions for Port Mary?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is good for all levels of surfer. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and will generally be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 5/4 year-round with hood and booties. The temperatures range from 12 degrees in August to 4 degrees in winter. See the temperature chart for more data on this.
