Located in the G-land area, Java, Tiger Tracks Left is a fun left-hand reef break that offers up a good wall to rip into and the occasional barrel. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a somewhat ill-defined reef.
What are the best surf conditions for Tiger Tracks Left?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step up as the size increases. This wave is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is petty consistent (6/10) and will not be crowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the Southwest and West.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round. In the summer water temperatures rise to 29 degrees before falling only to 25 in the winter. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
