Located in Java, Indonesia, G-Land is the ultimate reef break, world-renowned for its seemingly endless, perfect, and consistent barrels. The waves here can be challenging and break for up to 300 meters in each section breaking over a coral reef. There are four distinct sections, the first being Kong’s. Kong’s can be a bit sloppy but offers up a long barrel when the swell is right. Kongs has the best swell window, so if it is small it is the place to go. Money Tree’s is the main peak here: Long fast walls and perfect almond barrels. The next section is really a transition to the fourth: Launching pads.
