Located in West Caithness, Scotland, Castlehill to Murkle is a stretch of excellent and remote reef breaks (mostly lefts) that offer up deep slabbing barrels for the experienced tube rider. The waves here are heavy, breaking for up to 100 meters over rock reefs.

Gets good between head high to triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. These breaks are best suited to intermediate to advanced level surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (4/10) and will be uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the South. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on mid to high tides.
