Located in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, Majanicho is a quality reef break that offers up a sloping ride perfect for cutbacks and longboarding. The waves here can be a bit heavy and break for up to 100 meters over a rock bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Majanicho?
Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and can get a little busy at times (5/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from the North, Northeast, and Northwest. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a springsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 22 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is best when water temps drop to 17 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
