Located in Eastern Oaxaca, Mexico, Topleca is an alright reef break that offers up usually some heavy closeouts preferred by boogy riders. The waves here are pretty heavy and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a rock and sand reef.

Gets good around the overhead mark. We recommend riding a shortboard if you are going to ride a board here. This break is good for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Southwest. Works on all tides.
