Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Point Leo is an excellent but treacherous reef/point break with a rocky bottom. The waves here are generally gnarly and can break for up to 200 meters across the rock shelf, serving up barreling sections as well as open faces. The take off is sucky and shallow, straight into a barrel which then tapers into an open face.
Gets good between head-high to double overhead. We recommend riding your gun, standard shortboard, or step-up here. Point Leo is best suited to advanced and pro surfers.
