Coolum Beach Surf Report and Surf forecast

Found in Queensland, Australia, Coolum Beach is an ordinary beach break with a sandy bottom. The waves here are pretty elementary to surf and break for about 50 meters offering sections for turns, snaps, and even the occasional barrel.

What are the best surf conditions for Coolum Beach?

This beach gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend a longboard for the smaller days and a shortboard or step up for the bigger ones. All levels of surfers can find something here, depending of course on the size. The surf here is quite consistent (7/10) but will be absolutely packed, especially in the summer (9/10).
