Located in Southern Morocco, Tifnit is a small town that has a few breaks including a peaky beach break that offers up performance peaks. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Tifnit?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) and might be a bit busy at times (5/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is best when water temperatures only drop to 18 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
