Located in Southern Morocco, Agadir is a poor beach break that offers up weak waves for longboarding or beginners. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. Needs a massive swell to even think about breaking. Pollution is a big problem here as well.
What are the best surf conditions for Agadir?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here hardly breaks (2/10) and will be empty (3/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are big and from the North, Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is best when water temps drop to 18 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
