Located in Southern Morocco, Plage Blanche is a beach break that offers up good sections for hacks and carves when the conditions line up. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. These beaches stretch for 50 km, come here to get away from anyone and everyone.
What are the best surf conditions for Plage Blanche?
Gets good between waist-high and overhead, but does not handle size well. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard as the size increases. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will be empty (1/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is best when water temperatures only drop to 18 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
