Located in Northern Morocco, Bouznika Plage is a fun point break that throws out some zippy walls when a good swell hits. The waves here require some skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters (328 feet) over a rock bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Bouznika Plage?
Bouznika Plage gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard and then a step up as the size picks up. This break is good for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will always have a crew (7/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Northwest. Works best on a low tide only.
We recommend wearing a springsuit in the summers when water temps rise to 21°C (69.8°F). In the winters, a 3/2 is best as water temps drop to 18°C (64.4°F). See our temperature chart below for more data on this.
