Located on Aruba, Arashi Beach is a very popular beach on the island that also holds an offshore reef that creates a long and perfect right-hander on the few days a big enough swell hits. The waves here are not easy to surf and break for up to 200 meters (656 feet) over a reef. Takes about a 15-minute paddle to get to the spot, if you catch it when it’s good it is well worth it.
What are the best surf conditions for Arashi Beach?
Gets good between head high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard and then a step up as the size picks up. This break is good for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here does not break often (2/10) and will have a crew when it does (7/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are big and from the Northwest. Works on all tides.
